Cheap Airfares - How to Find the Best Deals

One of the easiest and most efficient ways of searching for your next flight deal is to use one of the latest flight and airfare comparison websites. These services are usually free to use and provide an extremely efficient and comprehensive method of comparing multiple airline and flight consolidator website services.

By using flight and airfare search facilities you save yourself a great deal of time, effort and money. Major flight comparison websites now include optional advanced search tools, these tools enhance and quicken the travel search process. Advanced search tools include the option to specify certain search criteria, which in turn can help you to find the best flight deal for your itinerary. You can search by flight departure time range, specific airline selection, you can also request results to include cheaper airfares within a specific departure date range, plus you have the facility to include searches using 'low cost airline' options.

Airfare and discount flight availability can be displayed by cheapest airfare price first or by specific airline, departure time or by flight duration. Select the flight deal that suites you, then use the 'Best Priced Supplier' to make a direct reservation. Click on the "Select" button and you will be redirected to the airline or suppliers secure website to complete your booking direct.

Other helpful tips on finding great flight deals include:

1. Book early to catch the 'early booking' deals. Some cheaper fares require a minimum 21day advance booking period.

2. Flying out on a weekend is usually more expensive, try flying mid-week Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

3. Subscribing to airline newsletters is the best way of staying ahead of the crowds. Most airlines now circulate airfare news in their weekly or monthly newsletter, including latest special offers and incentives plus the dates when reservations open for a new flight season.

4. Try not to restrict yourself to flying from one particular airport, the more choice you give yourself the better chance you have at finding a cheaper deal.

5. Flying on a direct or non-stop service is not always cheaper. Very often the cheapest deals will involve a number of stops or change of aircraft or both.

6. Look out for the 'include budget airlines' search option on price comparison travel sites. Remember, budget (no-frills) airlines don't always have the cheapest deals, especially the closer you get to departure date. Prices can change very quickly so don't forget to check all flight options including flights with full service-airlines.

7. If possible, be flexible with travel dates, this will help you find those cheap fares. Most flight search systems display prices for flights either side of your chosen date, in order for you to see how much you could save by amending your itinerary or travel plans.

8. If flying to a holiday destination out of season, look out for last minute cheap one way charter fares, but remember, it might not be as easy or as cheap when trying to book your return flight.

To get the best overview of the cheapest flights available, don't forget to use a Flight and Airfare Comparison 'multiple website' search facility.

Can India win the ODI series vs Australia?

The time to celebrate is over.
Even if the Indian team want the euphoria following the Twenty 20 World Championships to continue,
the Aussies won't allow that to happen.
The battle lines have been drawn and both teams have already had a long round of verbal sparring about what they think of each other.
But they would do well to remember that the last time they tasted success in a One-day International against the.
World Champions was way back in 2004.
This is a series of 7 ODIs.
The Australians are known to be great front runners.
Hence, it is important for India to start well.
They can hope to turn the tables on the mighty rivals if they get a winning start.
a lot of talking has been done by
Uthappa, Sree Santh and others.

It's time for some action now and against the big boys.

Sanjay's Judgment Day

1. Jail Dutt - This one argues that Dutt must be put away again, even if just to send out a strong, strong message that the long arm of law spares no one. It fights the argument that he was (many say is) a impulsive, simple man who made a stupid mistake, kept bad company, that he is basically a good, honest man who wanted to protect his family after the Mumbai riots. It argues why was he scared? His family was and is one of the leading families of Bollywood, his father was a Congress politician with enormous goodwill, why was he scared? Who was he trying to protect? Also, this POV argues, the one who carried the gun to the Dutt bungalow was sentenced under TADA, the one who hid it was sentenced under TADA but Dutt, who asked for the weapon and asked for it destruction got away. No TADA for him. Is this fair? Is he being let off because he is who he is? Is he being let off - remember last time when he was in prison his father had to knock the door of Bal Thackeray to help free his son - because his sister is a politician, the Congress is in power at the Centre and the state? This is the point of view argues that Dutt must be punished, he must serve another prison sentence if the law is fair. It says Dutt must be made an example in an industry and among the rich and famous that if you keep bad company, if you swim with the dons, you sink with them, in fact you sink even without them.

2. Free Dutt - This POV says, and let's be fair this is, for good or bad, fair or not, the overwhelming opinion about Dutt today, that Dutt has suffered enough for one bad mistake. He has paid his dues for being a silly, young, impulsive man. Enough damage has been done to him, his psychological state (imagine a man who knows he wasn't part of the conspiracy to murder hundreds but accused of it, as he would naturally think, in millions of minds), his family name and the memory of his kind, popular, many would say great, late father. It argues that Dutt is clearly not a terrorist. He may have had some bad friends at some point but he is not an anti-national but no one in that family which enjoys enormous goodwill (Priya today is a fairly popular politician) can really be a terrorist. Many people believe that Sanjay, who had a history of drug abuse, is essentially a wild child, for many years enamoured with life on the edge. He made many wrong choices, this was one of them and he has suffered for that. His career was almost ruined the first time he went to prison (the success of Khalnayak was a fluke and his arrest helped but everyone who believed then that it was all an act to boost the film were clearly wrong) and over the years he has once again painstakingly built it back. With the Munnabhai films and his association with Sanjay Gupta, Dutt is a top star again, able to command a top price and plum projects. If he goes back to prison, how much of that will stay when this 47-year-old actor returns?

So which side are you on?

LOL

One night a guy dropped his girlfriend at her home.

As they were about to wish each other goodnight at the front door, the guy started feeling a little in the mood.

With an air of confidence, he leaned with his hand against the wall and smiling, he said to her "Honey , would you give me a kiss?"

Horrified, she replied, "Are you mad? My parents will see us!"

"Oh come on! Who's gonna see us at this hour?" He asked grinning at her.

"No, please. Can you imagine if we get caught?"

" Oh come on!

There's nobody around, they're all sleeping!".

"No way , it's just too risky!"

"Oh please, please, I love you so much?!?".

"No, no, and no. I love you too, but I just can't!".

"Oh yes you can. Please?"

"No, no. I just can't" "I'm begging you ... "

Out of the blue, the light on the stairs went on, and

The girl's elder sister showed up in her pajamas, hair dishevelled, And in a sleepy voice she said,

"Dad says to go ahead and give him a kiss, or I can do it. Or if need Be, mom says she can come down herself and do it, but for God's sake and all of ours....

TELL HIM TO TAKE HIS HAND OFF THE DOOR BELL ........

Australia pleads for more babies

The Australian government's plea for couples to have more children, with "one for mum, one for dad and one for the country," has helped slow the ageing of the nation's population,

But Australia still faced slowing economic growth and a significant budget shortfall in 40 years due to the demographic impact of the ageing population,

"Demographic changes are still working against us," Costello said in an address to the National Press Club as he released a government analysis on the impact of an ageing population.

He said Australia was currently enjoying a "demographic sweet spot" with the number of working age people, or those between 15 to 64, higher than at any time in the past 40 years.

But he warned the numbers were set to decline from 2010.

Trends

The analysis, by a range of government agencies, said the number of Australians aged 65 or older is set to double by 2047 to 25 per cent of the population, while the number of people aged 85 or more will triple to 5.6 per cent of the population.

At the same time, the number of working-age Australians is set to increase only marginally, and will fall as a proportion of the population, putting stress on the nation's health and aged care costs and leading to lower economic growth per capita.

Costello said in 2007, there were five people of working age for every person aged 65 or older, but by 2047, there will be only 2.4 people of working aged for everyone aged 65 or more.

Costello added progress was being made on increasing the birth rate, with women now having an average of 1.8 children compared to about 1.7 five years ago.

But that meant Australia was still well below the 2.1 births per woman needed to ensure the population replaces itself.

lol, India needs just the opposite.

p.s- I read in high school every 1/4th of a sec, a baby is born in India! In the moments I typed this ps, India's popul

1. Maldives disappear .

so do hundreds of Pacific Islands as the icecaps relentlessly melt..

2 .Dutch construction companies

become the world’s giants , far beyond Exxon or Bank of Japan . after all they have had to construct a rim of dams around Mumbai , Hong Kong , and New York City like they did for themselves .

3 .Brown and white striped bears abound as the white polar bears migrate south and meet the brown bears.

4. Forget mangoes.

The cactus berry or fruit will be the most cultivated for consumption.

5. Revival of cannibalism

Live stock will be in limited supply and one third of animal species extinct .

with population quadrupling..dead bodies will be recycled for the non vegetarians .

6. Japanese and Koreans will hire kidnapping gangs

will pay good money to find overweight humans to roast and eat.

  1. Pakistan no longer exists .

After Musharraf was assassinated , ISI fired nuclear missiles at Mumbai and Delhi . which went the wrong way to Tehran and Tel Aviv . the response from that end sealed Pakistan’s fate.

  1. o3 blogger shrines visited at holy places in India

Holograms of all members to be preserved for worship eternally .

But only Frenchita’s backside… to preserve identity !

9 . All countries along equator will be so hot …clothing styles will be changed .

Actually no clothes will be the norm.

For men ..the langot ..only this time designed by Oscar de la Renta .

For women .a trio of fig leaves could be very enticing .

  1. On Valentine ‘s day

the paramours will come with ice cubes in insulated containers .

too hot globally na ..flowers would wither and candies would melt .

The ice cubes would be designed into romantic shapes to fit different contours of the body .

Dandeli

Dandeli is a picturesque city set amidst the backdrop of the Western Ghats (about 100kms from belgaum). It is a natural habitat for wildlife. Safaris in Open jeep into the Dandeli wildlife sanctuary accompanied by trained naturalists are the best way to view wildlife here. It is home to big cats such as Tigers, Leopards, & even Black Panthers, Elephants, Gaur, Deer’s, Antelopes, many kinds of reptiles & rich variety of Birds. It is also a perfect place for White Water Rafting. Off late it has become a hot tourist spot and attracts many local and foreign tourists all the year around…

I and six other frns (pavan, swapnil, nihar, deepak, Omkar and Roopesh) had planned to experience it. It was a 3day trip. We stayed in tents surrounded by thick forest, went for safari, Trekking, had a trilling Jungle experience.

And will run into pages if I write in detail. I tried to write it in brief but still it was very long. So I think these pics are self explanatory.. What say?

Lost In hell

It's been a long time since I felt this way
So incredibly, impossibly, painful
that I can think of nothing else all the day.
For once I can't afford to let it fade
I must quell this aching loneliness
I must drag my heart from this shade.
I will do it, I shall-
I will drag my heart from this shade...

I've never, ever, felt quite this way
so incredibly, impossibly, deeply hurt
that I can think of nothing else all the day.
I must find some way to make it fade
I must quell this even deeper loneliness
I must drag my heart from this shade.
I will do it, I shall-
I will drag my heart from this shade.
For this too shall pass.

How To Drop Weight and Become Healthier Using These 7 Simple Everyday Life Tips?

These 7 day-to-day life tips provided below will help you to drop your extra pounds, become more energetic and healthier.

  1. Drink More Water

Our bodies need a lot of water. Water removes waste from our organisms and carries various nutrients into all our organs and cells. Your body also loses water by using it for various ways. For this reason you have to replace it and drink water more often than you are used to.

Start your day with a glass of water in the morning. Drink a glass of water before any meal. Take a bottle of water with you when you go to work. Your body needs approximately 3-5 liters of water during one day. So don't hesitate to drink plenty of water wherever and whenever you can.

  2. Eat Fruits and Drink Fruit Juices

Eating fruits and juices helps you eliminate toxins from your body. Eating a variety of fruits also helps you get enough fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants. That's why you should eat fresh fruits and drink natural fruit juices as often as possible.

Fruit juices from stores are often sweetened. If you want to drink juices, make fresh juices yourself. If you think it takes too much of the time, then look for juices with labels that say "100% fruit juice". These are much healthier for your body as long as they contain much more vitamins.

  3. Eat Lots of Vegetables and Vegetable Salads

When it comes to losing extra pounds, vegetables are a great choice. They are natural and contain different vitamins, minerals and tons of other useful chemicals known to provide benefits for your body. Vegetables are low in fat and calories, they help control blood glucose levels, reduce blood cholesterol and reduce the risk of colon and other cancers. All these features also help control your weight effectively.

If you feel that eating vegetables alone isn't great choice for you, then make some salads. Mixing vegetables together gives you even more different vitamins and health benefits. There are tons of tasty, healthy salad recipes on the internet. You can also use you imagination to make some great salads.

  4. Eat Only When You Are Hungry

How many times you've been to a party where you saw lots of different and tasty looking meals, which you were offered to try.

Don't eat, because you are offered to. Eat only when you want to.

Many people also like snacking. In between meals or when have nothing to do. Quit snacking. Most snacks contain a lot of fat and calories. Replace your usual snacks with vegetables or fruits. These are healthy to your body and you'll never get fatter, only thinner.

  5. Carry Healthy Food with You

Many of us work busy office jobs and don't have time to eat regularly. In this case, bring your own made food with you. Instead of bringing sandwiches with meat, take vegetable salads, carrots, chicken salads. Any low fat food will do. This way, you won't have to wait for a break to fill your stomach. You'll be able to have fixed times when eating food.

It's also important to try to eat about 5 times a day, rather than 3 or 2. Eat in smaller quantities, but more often. This helps you to increase your metabolism.

  6. Work Out When You Can

Working out in a gym is not only a great way to grow some muscles, but also to drop a few pounds. Exercising helps you burn your calories instead of storing them in your body as fat. Our bodies were made to be active, so exercising slowly and easily can actually help you get more energy and make you feel much better.

At the end of the week, try to lose all the stress and burn your calories in a gym or having some kind of physical activity at home. If you have time, then try to do easy exercises everyday.

  7. Don't Lie Down or Sit When You Can Move

Many of us like to watch TV lying on a couch or sitting in a comfortable chair. Of course, when you come home after hard working day, you're tired, and all you can think of, is a couch and a remote in your hand. But such laziness won't help you lose weight. Contrarily, it will make you grow some more pounds.

So don't lie or sit, when you can walk and move. Instead of staring at TV, like a goofy, go ahead and work out in your garden for example, clean your garage, fix your car, go to walk in park or beach. Breathe fresh air and move more often. Not only does it help to reduce stress after work, but also ups your mood and makes you more energetic.

In Conclusion

Remember that all these tips will help you to lose weight, but only if you are determined and are ready to devote some of your time. Don't expect to slim down 4 sizes after eating 5 carrots and drinking orange juice.

Your body, just like many things in this world, needs time. So be patient. And if you will honestly use at least some of these tips, you are going to change your lifestyle, which in the end will lead you to a thinner and healthier body.

An Interesting Conversation -- Must Read

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem
science has with God, The Almighty. He asks one of his new students to
    stand and.....

Prof: So you believe in God?
    Student: Absolutely, sir.

    Prof: Is God good?
    Student: Sure.

    Prof: Is God all-powerful?
    Student: Yes.

Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal
him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't.
How is this God good then? Hmm?
    Student is silent.

Prof: You can't answer, can you?
Let's start again, young fellow. Is God good?
    Student: Yes.

    Prof: Is Shaitan good?
    Student: No.

Prof: Where does Shaitan come from?
    Student: From...God...

Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
    Student: Yes.

Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything.
    Correct?
    Student: Yes.

    Prof: So who created evil?
    Student does not answer.

Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these
terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
    Student: Yes, sir.

    Prof: So, who created them?
    Student has no answer.

Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe
the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?
    Student: No, sir.

Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
    Student: No, sir.

Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God?
Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
    Student: No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
    Student: Yes.

Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science
says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof: Yes Faith. And that is the problem science has.

Now the student said can I ask something to you Professor.

Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
    Prof: Yes.

Student: And is there such a thing as cold?
    Prof: Yes.

    Student: No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat,
mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have
anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but
we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold.
Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot
measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just
the absence of it. (There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as
    darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?

Student: You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something.
You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light...
But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and its called
darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be
able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue
there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are
viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure.
Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and
magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To
view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that
death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of
life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your
students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of
    course, I do.

Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where
    the argument is going.)

Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at
work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are
you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a
    preacher?

    (The class is in uproar.)

Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's
    brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain,
felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So,
according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable
protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect,
sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face
    unfathomable.)

Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.
Student: That is it sir... The link between man & god is FAITH. That is
all that keeps things moving & alive. .

    this iz a true story.

Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs

Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat)
    or endothermic (absorbs
    heat)?

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs
    using Boyle's Law
that gas cools when it expands
and heats when it is compressed or some
    variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:
First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time.
    So we
need to know the rate at which souls are
moving into Hell and the rate
    at which they are leaving.
I think that we can safely assume that once
    a soul gets to Hell,
it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are
    leaving.
As for how many souls are entering Hell,
    let's look at the different
    religions
that exist in the world today.
    Most of these religions state
    that,
if you are not a member of their religion,
    you will go to Hell.

Since there is more than one of these religions and
    since people do not
belong to more than one religion,
we can project that all souls go to
    Hell.
With birth and death rates as they are,
    we can expect the number
    of souls in Hell to
    increase exponentially. Now,
we look at the rate of
change of the volume in Hell.
Because Boyle's Law states that in order
    for the
temperature and pressure in Hell to stay constant,
    the volume
    of Hell must expand
    proportionately as souls are added.

    This gives two possibilities:
    1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than
    the rate at which souls
    enter Hell,
then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase
    until all Hell breaks loose.

    2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than
    the increase of souls in
    Hell, then the
temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes
    over.
    So which is it?
If we accept the postulate given to me by Sandra
    during my freshman
    year,
that "it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you,
    " and
take into account the fact that I slept with her last night,
    then number
    2 must be true,
and thus I am sure that Hell is endothermic
    and has
    already frozen over.

The corollary of this theory is that since
    Hell has frozen over, it
follows that it is not accepting
any more souls and is extinct...
    leaving
only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a
    divine being - which
    explains why, last night,
Sandra kept shouting "Oh my God."

THIS STUDENT RECEIVED THE ONLY "A".

    Do u Dream Of me...

A few days back.. my friend Praveen told me that, she dreamt of me...... Hehe... LOL... so thought of having a poem about dreams....
    This is for u praveen....

Dreams within the still of night
On wings of hope take flight inside of me
    There upon some distant shore
We want for nothing more than what will be
And you and i, here we are
I wonder as we’ve come this far...

If I could only read your mind
Tell me the answer I would find
    Do you dream of me?
And when you’re smiling in your sleep
    Beyond the promises we keep
    Do you dream of me?

Love has found a magic space
A deep and hidden place where time stands still
Now I hold you in my arms
You know you hold my heart and always will

And you and i, here we are
And it’s a wonder that we’ve come this far.

And after all that we’ve been through
You’ve leaned on me, I’ve leaned on you
    Do you dream of me?
And when you’re smiling in your sleep
    Beyond the promises we keep
    Do you dream of me?

If I could only read your mind
Tell me the answer I would find
    Do you dream of me?
And when you’re smiling in your sleep
    Beyond the promises we keep
    Do you dream of me?
And after all that we’ve been through
You’ve leaned on me, I’ve leaned on you.
    Do you dream of me?

    Rock Show

Sorry folks. Was away from the blog world for a while, was busy in college activities and fest. Now I am back with a promise that I will post regularly .

A Rock Band called PARIKRAMA had come to Belgaum. They had a show yesterday.
    It
was a charity show for polio..
I din know much about this band, and was bit hesi to go for the show, thinking it would be a flop show. Coz had never been to any Indian rock show.

But then i was appointed as a bouncer for that show. HEHE funny na.........
I reached at the venue at 5pm (1hr b4 the start of the show. The guys ver busy doing their initial settings. I was bored as everybody busy and I had no work to do. I then sat beside the speakers and started chatting on SMS, unknown to the fact that the speakers had 70000watts output. I think the drummer saw me sitting near the speakers, and he wanted to make fun so just started playing all of a sudden.. OOh!!!! I just jumped off, it shook me. ooohhhhhhh God My heart was in my mouth. The drummer was smiling....
The show was rock'g it proved me wrong. oooh man I liked it. Every one was just banging their head with the music... Its was gr8. I was busy taking their video and pictures, some of the pic are shown here......
I had a gr8 time there... Happy to know that there are some good bands in India too..
