When I Asked God for Strength
He Gave Me Difficult Situations to Face
When I Asked God for Brain & Brown
He Gave Me Puzzles in Life to Solve
When I Asked God for Happiness
He Showed Me Some Unhappy People
When I Asked God for Wealth
He Showed Me How to Work Hard
When I Asked God for Favors
He Showed Me Opportunities to Work Hard
When I Asked God for Peace
He Showed Me How to Help Others
God Gave Me Nothing I Wanted
He Gave Me Everything I Needed

the last two lines are SO DAMN true!
That is absolutely wonderful. Swami Vivekananda was one of India's and the world's greatest sons. We were lucky enough to have such an enlightened, brilliant and down to earth saint in our midst. He has always been a major inspiration to me, and he will continue to inspire me all my life. I salute this great son of India!!Nice post!!
"God Gave Me Nothing I Wanted He Gave Me Everything I Needed"
Those lines really hold true. :)
sweet man
God Gave Me Nothing I Wanted He Gave Me Everything I Needed
As someone above pointed out..these lines seem to mean the most.God has given most of us all the things u need it life...yet we crib for the small things..its only wen we see the less fortunate we realise how fortunate we are.
We need to constantly reminded of such things..so easy to forget them.
really nice to see a post regarding Swami vivekananda.
Thanx for visiting my blog.
